Radiohead comes to Rome on September, 22 – they’re back!

Radiohead, some say one of greatest bands on the rock scene, is coming to Rome on September, 22 to play a gig at the Ippodromo delle Capannelle.

The show was scheduled to take place on June, 30, but was cancelled after a stage collapse in Toronto killing crew member Scott Johnson and injuring 3 others. If you have the possibility to obtain a ticket please do, Radiohead are incredible live performers, I am sure it will be a “Concerto incredibile”.

Radiohead are orginally from Abingdon, Oxfordshire in the UK. Their first taste of success came in 1992 with the song Creep, but Radiohead rarely does the expected. The group belongs to that rare breed of artists of whom no two albums are the same. Radiohead would not be Radiohead if not to look for the edges of the fine line between pop music and avant-garde. They sweat over songs in the studio, but everything comes to live in their shows and “It’ll get better with age” Thom Yorke (lead vocals, rhythm guitar, piano & beats) once said in an interview.

With eight albums under their belt, not counting their EPs, Radiohead has plenty to work with.  Their shows are both stunning visually as musically. I hope you are ready for the experience, there isn’t a better word for it.
